AUDI A3, 2.0 FSI 3-DR HATCH, LAUNCHED 2004

Since 2008 we have been servicing and repairing the Volkswagen Golf Mk6 range doing general repair and service work, as well as performance upgrades, clutch and brake repairs and replacements. In addition to this, we can do a lot of other work in this range but those are the main areas we seem to focus on with this range of the vehicle.

Below is a list of the ranges of Volkswagen Golf Mk6 with more information and images for those that want to read up on their car.

Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet

The Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet is a four-seat soft top with a hydraulic drive that opens the Golf’s top in 9.5 seconds. The top can also be opened or closed during your drive as well as long as you are going under to 30 km/h.

Volkswagen Golf Variant

The Volkswagen Golf Variant was introduced in 2009, is known as the sports wagon of the Golf Range. The MK6 model has better interior styling cues, as well as front fascia, improved engine speed as well as a reduction in fuel use. In addition to this, the brakes and clutches for manuals have been improved making the ride a lot smoother. But it is suggested that you make sure these are serviced regularly.

Volkswagen Golf Plus

In December 2008, an updated version of the Golf Plus was revealed at the Bologna Motor Show. The car featured a new front to the car, similar to the Golf Mk6, but still largely retaining the design of the rear end and the interior of the Mk5 based.

Volkswagen Golf Twin Drive

The Volkswagen Golf Twin Drive is a hybrid car using both electric power and petrol. The car its self can run 50kms just on electric power, which for a 2010 model car which was also a hybrid car was and is a big achievement.

Volkswagen Golf R

The Volkswagen Golf R is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged engine that produces 199 kW and 260 nm of torque. Volkswagen claims the car can get from 0–100 km/h in 5.5 seconds or 5.7 seconds for cars fitted with a manual gearbox.
